Spirit of Small Business Partnership
with C&M Sporting Goods, Bank of America, the Philadelphia 76ers & the Philadelphia Flyers
Celebrating Community, Teamwork, and the Power of Small Business
The Spirit of Small Business is a community initiative that unites C&M Sporting Goods, Bank of America, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Philadelphia Flyers to uplift local businesses, inspire youth, and strengthen neighborhoods across the Philadelphia region.
At its core, this program celebrates how teamwork — on the court, on the ice, and in our communities — creates meaningful, lasting impact.
Investing in the Next Generation
Through the partnership, the Spirit of Small Business program has supported organizations and facilities that make a difference every day.
🏒 Snider Youth Hockey & Education
The program donated brand-new hockey equipment to Snider Youth Hockey & Education, a nonprofit that uses hockey as a vehicle for academic achievement, life skills development, and leadership training. These resources help ensure more young athletes can access the sport and the mentorship that comes with it.
🏀 Joseph Scanlon Recreation Center
The collaboration also extended to the Joseph Scanlon Recreation Center, where partners contributed to revitalizing the facility, enhancing sports programming, and creating safe spaces for kids and families to play, learn, and grow together.
Empowering Philadelphia’s Small Businesses
Beyond the rink and the court, Spirit of Small Business shines a spotlight on the entrepreneurs who form the backbone of our communities.
By showcasing and supporting local small businesses, the program underscores the vital role they play in fueling Philadelphia’s economy and shaping its identity.
A Shared Commitment to Community
The Spirit of Small Business represents what happens when sports, business, and community come together for a common purpose.
Through collaboration, generosity, and shared values, this partnership continues to invest in people — fostering opportunity, unity, and pride across the region.
